Donald is Managing Director of Agritechnology Pty Ltd, a company he has enjoyed a long association with, interspersed with other ventures. Donald brings specialist project management skills to Agritechnology, developed during his career focus on the identification and evaluation of new technology based projects in the agribusiness area. This has included technical development / proof of concept, preparation of commercialisation plans with detailed business/market models, and the construction and commissioning of pilot and production plant facilities, which were compliant with relevant authorities and industry legislation.

Recent projects include the
management of a novel fuel ethanol research project for Agritechnology as well
as management of a spin-off company - Australian Functional Foods Pty Ltd, which
has commercialised a range of high value nutraceutical products based on sweet
cherries.
Within Agritechnology Pty Ltd, Donald
managed several development projects between 1988 and 1995, including the design
and construction of a warm water oyster hatchery and algae production facility
based on power station effluent water, and the construction and operation of an
aquaculture feed pilot plant.
Donald also co-owns a small winery near
Orange and is a Member and Past Executive of Orange Region Vignerons
Assocation.
